Be sure to roll these thinly for maximum crispness.

Ingredients

3 1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup of sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 1/3 cups of whole milk
1/4 cup of butter room temp
1/2 cup flour for rolling
1/2 cup of sugar for dusting

Preparation

Preheat oven to 450°F.
Mix sugar, flour, and baking powder together in a bowl until well blended.
Add butter and milk.
Mix until uniform, dough will be sticky but solid. If the dough is too wet, add a tablespoon of flour.
Generously flour your work area, as well as a rolling pin.
Roll dough into a large ball, incorporating flour along the way, divide the dough into four equal quadrants.
Working with one section at a time, roll the dough into a rectangle.
Continue to roll dough out to near paper-thin thickness—around 1/16th of an inch. The dough will have some spring to it, and frequently shrink incrementally during the roll process.
Once the dough is at the proper thickness, use a ravioli cutter to cut the dough into 1x3 inch shapes.
Dust with granulated sugar.
Continue process until all dough is used.
Bake 6-8 minutes depending on oven temperature, they will have a golden brown edge.
