If you add fruit, after 2 hours of refrigeration, slice your orange and gently press the orange slices into the mold. The gelatin will be slightly thickened and should hold the fruit in place.

Ingredients

1 cup sour mix
2 cups boiling water
1 pack Royal Orange Gelatin
1/2 cup dark rum
1 orange (optional)

Preparation

Refrigerate sour mix for 30 minutes.
Combine boiling water with gelatin mix, stir until completely dissolved. Remove from heat.
Gently stir in the dark rum and sour mix.
Pour into mold, refrigerate for four hours.
To unmold, after four or more hours have passed, loosen the edges of the gelatin from the mold with the tip of a knife, dip mold to the rim in warm water for 10 seconds.
