You could order this barbecue chickpea salad at your favorite restaurant or you could make it for yourself and save time while adding healthy benefits. When you add chickpeas, cabbage, and carrots to any salad you add a ton of color, flavor, and most importantly, healthy fiber.

Ingredients
1/2 cup chickpeas, sprouted is ideal
1/4 cup organic BBQ sauce (check the sugar content and stick with 5g or less per serving)
1/4 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
2 cups mix of organic red and green cabbage, shredded
1/4 cup organic carrot, shredded
1/8 cup jicama, chopped
2 tablespoons green onion, sliced
1-2 tablespoons honey mustard dressing
Preparation
Simply place mix the chickpeas and the BBQ sauce together, then serve atop the cabbage and veggie mix and drizzle it with the honey mustard!
Optional: add even more crunch and healthy fat with 1 tablespoon of hemp hearts.
