Thanksgiving: The Kid's Table

We’ve all been there, either seated at one, or setting one up. It’s the holiday “kids’ table,” that awesome place where children are grouped when they are considered too young for the adult table.

As we’ve watched the trends in holidays move from traditional family get togethers and into “friendsgiving” and group celebrations, we’ve also seen how the younger set are beginning to get some special treatment. In our version, the Kids’ Table is not a place where you are relegated and forgotten—far from it. This is a table that offers a great place to create, use your imagination, and share with your cousins (or your friends or the children of your parent’s friends)!

This year, if you plan a Kids’ Table, make the most of it with some of these fun recipes that make any day a holiday.

Refer to this link to our Friendsgiving story commentary.

Here are the links to our kid-friendly recipes:

Dried Sweet Corn Spoon Bread

Finger Friendly Sweet Potato Fries with Marshmallows

Tangy Cranberry Fruit Salad

Finger Pies

Turkey Sliders with Mac & Cheese

Cranberry Peanut Butter Dip

Who knows--you may have adults who prefer to sit at the Kids' Table this year!
