Latin Cocktails Are Causing Quite The 'Stir'
Hot & Cool
At The Food Channel, we're always keeping an eye on trends in food and beverage. Cocktails featuring rum have long been popular in the U.S., but it seems the desire for rum-inspired cocktails is reaching new creative peaks.
According to imbibemagazine, the rising interest may be, in large part, driven by bartenders looking for interesting and unique flavor combinations.
Our consumer behavior and insights partner, CultureWaves, has been exploring the trend of creating experiences around food and beverage, as opposed to them being in a supporting role, for some time. Cocktail enthusiasts, whether it's those who create or those who imbibe, have become more knowledgeable about ingredients and style, leading to continual growth and exploration.
When our editorial team saw a recent cocktail feature on Forbes, we knew we had to share. Below are the Top Six Rum Cocktails For Summer, as identified by Forbes contributor Nick Passmore, followed by some of our Food Channel rum-inspired favorites.
