Recipes: Healthy Smoothies

Healthy Smoothies

Whether you are a parent who wants to please your kids with a healthy after school snack, or just someone who wants to cool down with a smoothie, these three fruit -nfused recipes are exactly what you need to get through the day.

Follow along with Johanna Cook from Momma Cuisine as she creates all three of these simple and healthy smoothies.

 

Foodie Byte

Ingredients

Mango Papaya & Pineapple Protein Smoothie:
1/4 cup sliced papaya – frozen
1/4 cup diced pineapple – frozen
1/4 cup diced mango – frozen
2 tablespoons protein powder
1/4 cup Greek yogurt
1 cup whole milk
Strawberry & Carrot Smoothie:
1 cup sliced strawberries – frozen
1/4 cup red grapes – frozen
1/4 cup sliced carrots
1/4 cup Greek yogurt
1 cup whole milk
Momma Cuisine’s Green Smoothie:
1/2 Granny Smith Apple – sliced and frozen
1/4 Green Grapes – frozen
2 tablespoons – raw almonds
1 Ripe Kiwi – peeled, sliced, frozen
1 small handful of raw baby spinach
1-2 tablespoons honey
1 cup water or coconut water

Preparation

For each smoothie, combine designated ingredients and blend until smooth.
